The photo is of the wrong species of gull. The photo is of yellow-legged gulls (Larus michahellis) from Ibiza, an island in Spain. But the article is about western gulls (L. occidentalis) from Santa Barbara Island in California.
Quite frankly, the fact that the gulls in question were western gulls should have been mentioned in your article. Calling them "seagulls" is NOT enough.
The lesbian gulls of Santa Barbara Island have pink legs, not yellow like the photo. They likely have a darker grey on their wings. Because they are different species.
Okay but listen- I would buy Pride Discourse Blog bird stickers. If y'all were into that.
PLEASE do the stickers :)
This is so important and great.
It even inspired a folk song that was later covered in the '90s by Engelbert Humperdinck for the Beavis and Butthead movie.
Honestly.
Ok everybody I know this says "seagull" a lot but be cool
