Well whaddya know — it’s Friday. You made it through a pretty shitty week. Congratulations. You did it. Got plans to celebrate? Maybe a drink, or a nap? Maybe a drink and a nap? Do what you’ve gotta do, pal. I’m not here to judge.

Did you know foxes aren’t born pink, but turn that way because of all the flamingos they eat?

One of the few silver linings of cataclysmic global warming is that the further inland shorelines erode, more and more people will have the opportunity of experiencing the joy and delight of finding delightfully nostalgic maritime treasures.

Also, I’m pretty curious about the editorial process involved in making this just-released Department of Homeland Security Coloring Book (“created for the children of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel to highlight the work their parents and loved ones perform each day to protect the United States”) and whether the authors considered adding a page about this crucial assignment to secure the homeland.
