They're angry because Taylor IS successful and doesn't need men's approval to BE successful.

But not mentioned here is that when Taylor Tweeted out a link to get registered to vote last year, that link got 35,000 new voters. THAT'S why they have to claim she's a psyop, to tell MAGA not to let Taylor influence their daughters. Because otherwise girls might think they could use their vote to think for themselves, or something.

Yup. Low voter turnout is better for them, especially considering the likely demos/voting inclinations that would be registering to vote at her urging.

If Taylor really was an op...they’d just have her run for potus. Far easier to get her elected than shoving Joe’s wheezing corpse creaking and moaning over the finish line again.

She turns 35 between the election and Inauguration Day. Hmmmmm.

Amongst our many stupid laws that one is up there. Arbitrarily deciding 35 is old enough to hold the keys to the kingdom.

I like some of Taylor's music, but wouldn't call myself a fan. But I fully appreciate the work she's done to get herself where she is, I have a number of friends who love the type of role model she has become for their girls, and I fully endorse her supporting someone she cares about by supporting their passions (in this case, football).

It is really remarkable how weak some men are in that they can't handle her showing up on their TV screen for 5 seconds after Kelce scores a TD. She's not asking to be put on TV...she's there to watch a football game. That she and Travis Kelce are so threatening really shows the fragility of their position. And watching them now have to root for the Niners is rich!

Complaining about celebrity relationships is a very early 2010's Donald Trump thing to be doing. They really are turning into mirror images of their big sweaty king.

Really looking forward to having the defending champions beating a team led by a guy picked last in the draft a couple years ago treated like some super improbable event

Not just improbable, government concocted!

It's fun to watch these idiots suddenly support the exact team for which Colin Kaepernick played when he took the knee. A lot of Joe Montana footage showing up.

These people are in no way ready for the reality that is about to befall them.

"Which is what makes the fact that conservatives are now actively rooting for San Francisco—a city they objectively hate—simply because its sports team doesn’t employ Travis Kelce so galactically lame and depressing."

The fact that no one spouting this inanity seems to recognize the inherent contradiction makes this all the more stupid and delicious. Thanks for all the people you're recruiting to vote Democrat, wingnuts!

What will happen first, Swift endorsing Biden (unlikely) or Trump losing it and posting some smear of Swift (more likely)? I think the latter would really hurt Trump. And given how reluctant Swift is to endorse anything or anyone, it would be a pretty good result. Come on, Trump. Smear Swift.

Why unlikely? She endorsed him in 2020. Seems like it's likely she will, if anything.

Ooooo, I got it. Swift releases a catchy anti-trump tune. It can just be a song about terrible old men. It charts this summer and serves as a de-facto endorsement.

Yes, but as you recall, it was within an interview in a magazine. Trump had COVID and was looking like a loser, but she was careful not to make a huge splash. So I see her either going big with an endorsement live on the Today Show (or some other morning show), or Trump attacks her first. The Swift fans will then do her work for her. No endorsement necessary. Trump will be vilified by her fan base. Keep in mind, whatever she does will move her net worth. She was worth $500 Million in 2020. She's One Billion+ today. She has a whole team gaming this out. In 2016, that team told her to stay out of the race entirely.

The saddest thing is what Trump craves the most is the approval of people like Taylor. She’s rich, she’s powerful, she’s (most importantly) a celebrity. It’s all he’s ever wanted.
