I have had an unjustifiable hatred of Chris Pratt since Parks and Rec (I don't know why). I'm kinda glad to now at least have some justified reasons to hate that twat.

I have to admit that while I didn't follow this race with any level of detail, I was thinking that it reminded me of Michael Huffington, who spent $9M on his House seat, then $28M to unseat Feinstein in a Senate run a year or so later. Using a handy inflation calculator, adjusted he spent $18M, and $53M, respectively. Still impressive...

Still, consider that Pritzker in Illinois spent over $150M for his governorship. Is there anyway that someone can get these guys a ship-in-a-bottle kit or a woodworking shop or something to keep themselves busy instead of running for office? Here's a Business Insider (take that how you will) article on the people spending their own cash--not necessarily those that spent the most: https://www.businessinsider.com/dr-oz-jb-pritzker-wealthy-senate-house-congress-elections-2022-11#16-matt-dolan-failed-republican-us-senate-candidate-in-ohio-10597000-16
