(there may be more out there - this is the first I stumbled across since I read your article. Also, I don't know if it was on his web site or socials, but it was in my inbox. You may be able to dredge this up at https://www.politicalemails.org/, but the archive is not 100%. Also, Sarah McBride has sent messages via a number of other PACs' and candidates' mailing lists - I'll put these in a separate response)

quoting from Feb 17 email I got from John Fetterman (policywise he's a mixed bag for me, but I think he's one of the more effective communicators the Dems have right now):

Subject: standing with the trans community

Folks, it’s John Fetterman, and this is important.

It might not be popular to stand with the trans community right now, but I’m doing it anyway and calling on the Trump administration to rescind the transgender military ban.

It’s not about woke sh*t. It’s about respecting the inherent dignity of every U.S. servicemember, regardless of race or gender.

I’m unapologetically pro-military AND pro-LGBTQ, and I actually think they go hand-in-hand. ALL our servicemembers, including our trans troops, make our military stronger.

If you agree, will you join me by signing on to my petition calling on the Trump administration to rescind the ban?

Sign the petition » https://act.johnfetterman.com/sign/email-20250214-trans-military-ban?source=em20250217-9910&akid=9910%2E5563861%2EGRXL1n

Thanks, folks. I’ll never vote to degrade anyone, including our trans servicemembers. It’s not woke sh*t to have their back; it’s our duty.

John ❤️

A fundraising email seen by ones own donors is not a public statement of support (it has a much more limited audience, both in political alignment and in number of eyeballs).

A trans congressperson fundraising on Democratic fundraising email lists is *also* not a public statement of support.

I don't think I have to explain why refusing to make a public statement, while simultaneously *fundraising off of it* in effectively *private* emails, makes the situation much more embarrassing, and worse. It's blatant, cynical, "Rainbow Capitalism".

"I'll never vote to degrade anyone". His disgusting track record with Palestine says otherwise...
