I wasn’t happy about Pratt because he doesn’t have the range. I would have preferred a paisan or someone who could do a Brooklyn accent.
Bob Hoskins was great in the live action film. I thought his approach worked well for a character who is essentially a blank canvas for gamers.
Honestly, now I'm just furious that we were denied an Austin Powers-esque casting job of Jack Black voicing Bowser and Mario.
