That said, my wife's twin sister had hers out as an adult and it sucked. That's a really good point — and that's what happened too when we were "reopening" the states, right. It could have been done far more safely but the infrastructure was never there, and it's still not in the case of in-person teaching.
Also uuuhghghhhhhh this is really what I've been thinking about but dreading for years. My dentist first suggested I get them removed a few years ago but also mentioned the difficult recovery for older people, and then my doctor said the same during the tonsillitis. But no time like the present I guess. Glad they're doing better!
