I put to you that the repeated use of the term “America “ when speaking about the United States is also racist. America covers 3 continents and many countries most of which many speak Spanish, the languages of the indigenous, some French, some English and some Portuguese. Until the ethnocentricity that the United States is the only country worthy of being called America or the only America that counts, not much will change.

The majority of cases in New Mexico are happening on Diné land. Unsure if that is also true about Arizona and Utah.
