The greatest criminal empire the wold has ever known (aka U.S.A.! U.S.A.!) naturally has a militarized culture, economy and domestic military (cops) to keep the rabble at bay. America IS crime and its spawn is everywhere, although what is condemned as crime isn't necessarily criminal. Corporate crime thrives in accordance with true American values, while the unwhite are villified, gunned down, beaten to death, incarcerated and economically apartheided.
America needs crime like the axe needs the turkey (posterbird for the whole month of November). The corporate media's focus on street crime as moronic morarlity plays featuring "good guys/bad guys" functions to distract the bewildered herd from the depraved criminal activity on Wall Street. The centrality and circularity of America's crimes against humanity have imposed a murder/suicide pact upon the whole world. However, like charity, it begins at home.
