There's a small part of me that sees Nancy Peolsi jumping parties after the midterms. It's not completely realistic to expect this to happen, but given her love of Republicans, and punching leftward, and most importantly for power, what really does she lose by switching?
I remember this used to be Nick Kristof's line after the 2008 election if I'm not much mistaken. An earlier, more embarrassing version of me bought into it then mostly because of how self-righteous and smarmy I got to feel when saying it. Moral of the story: I was a fucking idiot, which I suppose made me Kristof's ideal demographic.
