I think a lot about John Frankenheimer's THE TRAIN, which, above all else, is the story of ordinary people willing to engage in sabotage to thwart Nazi war efforts. It is inspiring, and yet, THE TRAIN hinges on an attempt to fight Nazis to preserve French culture. We have no culture in America beyond racism. I cannot imagine a coherent fight against our very souls.
