We all “play the game” in life. It’s how we interact with each other, vying for a job, smiling to get what we want, withholding agreement to put someone else down or in place for a comeuppance. The stakes are far bigger in politics but we all behave this way to some degree and in some variation. Sure, some do things with no thought of reward or favor or being thought well of but even they will play the game at times to get what they need to continue even selfless work. To suggest humans don’t do this is to to ignore basic human behavior.
Can't argue with you about the human conditions or human behavior....u b right on. Not a great history buff but the founding fathers imho were: privileged white dude hypocrites regarding race and equality and most revealing of all showed contempt for the common (wo)man. But most despicable to me: they denied voting rights to the common man; the common man that fought with his/ her blood fighting for our independence while they were sipping tee served by their black servants pondering our constitution...their Constitution..
So be b right on Kasumi they played the game and rigged it.
Pete, among a few others, would get my vote.
