DeSantis emulating Trump's "mascot being lowered from the rafters on a wire" approach to standing might be the funniest development of 2022. Give it a few weeks, he'll be hugging the flag too.
I’m sorry Cros but I can’t let this libel go unchallenged. Pence for sure is one of the dorkiest mfing dorks that’s ever lived. But Grassley is a swagged up king.
Grassley absolutely looks like he belongs in those clothes, and has even probably worn them before. Pence CANNOT WAIT to get out of those wet threads and into, I presume, his Snuggie.
Plus, since when haven’t politicians played the game of making deals and putting themselves up for this or that job? Read & research history, all the way back to our founding, and that’s always been done.
We all “play the game” in life. It’s how we interact with each other, vying for a job, smiling to get what we want, withholding agreement to put someone else down or in place for a comeuppance. The stakes are far bigger in politics but we all behave this way to some degree and in some variation. Sure, some do things with no thought of reward or favor or being thought well of but even they will play the game at times to get what they need to continue even selfless work. To suggest humans don’t do this is to to ignore basic human behavior.

“Look at these two dorks.”

Grassley’s drip is flawless.
Pete, among a few others, would get my vote.
