Considering how well this sort of hostage situation has worked for the royal courts of England and France over the centuries, it’s only fair we should get to use it, too. Though for starters we should make the Ragland-Spencers pay for their own court attire and accommodations, much like the Louises did with the aristocrats they kept hostage at Versailles.
