Also, she was an aide to Ted Cruz, so she has experience working with the Absolute Worst of Humanity. Whether or not her testimony leads to criminal charges against Trump or his associates . . .

she's probably just doing what everyone else who exited that cesspool did, which is launder her reputation to the point that she starts getting invited to parties and job interviews again (once the death threats die down).
I mean, yes, I do have sympathy for a 25 year old woman going against the apparatus that employed her and is now probably going to result in her having to go into some form of witness protection, but I'd be shocked if she isn't already eyeing a position in the DeSantis campaign.
